interesting. but wrong

check out the Typealyzer, kiddos!   enter a blog url and it returns an opinion on what the writer(s) must be like.

it is a beta version, p'haps that is the reason why there is no way to save results.  I had to screenprint mine.

which is interesting.  but wrong.

  1. Oh. Strangely true in parts:The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to
pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft
fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present
moment and don´t like to plan ahead – they are always in risk of
    exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a
concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely
initiate confrontation – qualities that can make it hard for them in
    management positions.

  2. p.s. Big on the feeling and sensing brain but not much on the practical. :-( I try. I really do.

  3. it sounds a *lot* like you. though you are very practical. I like "soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells." <—- Buz and Mishoo.

  4. I think I make sense more times than not… and really, if it's not pretty, soft, bright, or sweet, I don't want to be near it. My sister and I have been known to re-arrange hotel rooms if they're stupid, ugly and rigid.

  5. you do strike me (both in the blogiverse and in person) as very sensory-oriented. like my mom is. very attuned to colors, light, smells, tactile feel…

  6. Thanks, m. Being compared to your mom can only be good. And I do see a lot of you in that Doer profile–you do have a playful and active mind. You like the idea of doing things, I bet, even if you don't actually do them. But I bet you do do. You're just not giving yourself credit. Not the way we doo.

  7. Not entirely wrong for me, but not altogether accurate, either. Says I'm compassionate and worry about people, which is true, but it also says I am "not a friend of many words" (har!) and that I like to work as a part of a group (har, har!). Silly, but interesting. I'd love to know what sort of parameters were used for the algorithm; it needs work, but does seem to have potential.

  8. I got the Performer too. looking drunk. and liking soft colorful things (the kittehs, obviously, since that's 99% of the blog). not so much with the helping people, tho, sorry. Same as jaypo. If you only look at the first paragraph, it's a perfect description of the kitties! They live in the moment and like soft and tasty things!

  9. because you hated it.and add lurker and stephel to the list of performers. that's like 6/8. maybe that's the reason is beta. like kirk, I'd be curious to see about their parameters. I'd also wonder if it looks at the commenters.ancora impara ran several well known-blogs and got different results for each. stephel, go ahead and do CO and ICHC and let us know what it says

  10. I ran it again on mine and still got Performer. But here's a conundrum. Very little of my blog is public. So are they going on only what I've made public (pictures of teh Buz and some other nice things) or can they access everything else through some kind of hoodoo?

  11. All of my blog is public and their assessment is still drastically wrong. I don't know what that means. I'm just sayin'

  12. I got this one too.Bewildering.Listen, I have no problem sitting still.Ask the cats, since apparently my tendency to sit staring at papers and screens by the hour is one of my few real virtues.
